Elyse obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University in 2012. Since graduating, Elyse has held several roles working both in the refugee/humanitarian area of law, as well private client, and corporate practice. Her experience includes working on numerous visa streams including protection and humanitarian visas, the family stream (partner, child, and parent visas); the skilled visa process including Employer-Sponsored visas and independent skilled visas; Labour Agreements and standard business sponsorships; student visa (500) and resident return visas (155). Elyse also has experience working on and obtaining skills assessments through VETASSESS, ACS, CAANZ and AIM, as well as Australian citizenship matters through conferral, descent, the spousal discretion, and obtaining evidence of Australian citizenship. Elyse has also contributed to submissions to the Federal government on the skilled migration visa process. Through her career, Elyse has also gained knowledge of the AAT and IAA process and judicial review at the Federal Circuit Court. She has also worked and advised on complex immigration matters involving character and s 501 matters, s 116, PIC 4020, 4005 and 4007.

In her spare time, Elyse enjoys watching cricket and hiking.
