Abraham is the Principal Solicitor of the firm. He started his career in the Automotive Services industry participating in almost every aspect of the industry. It wasn’t until a family tragedy led him to the legal profession that he realised he wanted to take a different direction in his life.
Now as a lawyer his aim is to apply his communication skills and business operations knowledge to empower his clients to make sensible decisions and provide the support to help them reach their goals in their lives or in their work and business.
To put it simply, “I don’t want our clients to feel the same way I did when I sought legal help, before I was a lawyer”. His comprehensive understanding of running a business outside legal practice in a different industry allows him, now, as a lawyer, to assist SME’s effectively and to help countless clients.
His role in the firm is to focus on Immigration matters where other legal issues arise such as Visa applications for Small to Medium Businesses, Family Law and Criminal matters.
Ayah Soltan Associate - Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law

Ayah Soltan is an Associate at the firm.
She is one of only 36 lawyers in NSW recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law by the NSW Law Society. Ayah’s recognition as a specialist is a reflection of her hard work, expertise and passion in immigration law.
Ayah holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Additionally, Ayah is also a registered Migration Agent.
Ayah comes from a Palestinian background and is a fluent speaker of Arabic.
She commenced her legal career at a boutique CBD firm in 2010. She worked on a range of legal matters but decided that immigration was her calling. Ayah’s immigration law experience is now extensive and ranges from visa applications to more complex matters such as visa cancellations, appeals to tribunals and courts and requests for ministerial intervention.
Ayah represents clients from all walks of life and enjoys working on challenging cases.
Nadine Elhage, Solicitor and Registered Migration Agent.

Nadine Elhage graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Law in 2012. She is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and is admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia. Nadine is also a Registered Migration Agent.
She was the Judicial and Administrative Merits Review Coordinator at her previous legal role for three years which enabled her to acquire substantial skills and knowledge which helped her achieve a deep understanding and interest of immigration law.
Whilst at university she intentionally worked in many different branches of legal practice as she could and decided that one of the most enjoyable industries to work in was immigration law.
She comes from a Lebanese background and is fluent in Arabic.

Rohan Mackenzie (LLB, BA (Hons) UNSW)
Rohan is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and is a Registered Migration Agent (MARN: 1689172).
Rohan graduated from Bachelor of Arts with honours in political science and spent years working in media and public relations, helping corporate and government clients manage their public profile. He then moved into the media, volunteering in community radio while working for a non-profit organisation supporting the hearing-impaired community’s access to news and media.
Rohan was attracted to the law by his desire to help the disadvantaged access our justice system. While completing his law degree, Rohan worked in the community legal sector, assisting clients from disadvantaged and culturally diverse backgrounds. He has now found his niche in immigration law, where he enjoys helping clients navigate the complex visa system and settle in Australia.
Brett Slater Special Counsel
Brett Slater established the firm over 30 years ago. He has recently taken the part-time role of Special Counsel which has enabled him to undertake more travelling. Brett does not currently own or manage the firm; he has taken extended leave for most of the remainder of 2017.
Brett has over 30 years of experience as a migration lawyer in Sydney. In 1995 Brett was one of the first NSW lawyers to become an Accredited Specialist in Immigration.
Together with representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Amnesty International, the Council of Churches, the Law Institute of Victoria and UNHCR, Brett was, for 6 years, a member of the Refugee Review Tribunal Liaison Committee convened by that Tribunal.
From 1995 – 2002 Brett sat on the Immigration Committee of the International Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. In 2003 and 2004 he was appointed by the President of the Law Society to its Immigration and Administrative Law Committee.
In 2005 Brett was appointed by the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) as Chair of a select committee. The task of the committee was to recommend which universities, throughout Australia, should be allowed to provide Graduate Certificate courses in Immigration law.
From 2005 to 2010 Brett was appointed to the Law Society’s Specialist Accreditation Committee (SAC) for immigration lawyers. The SAC sets standards for lawyers who wish to apply to become accredited as immigration specialists and examines and assesses applications for accreditation. Subsequently he sat on the Society’s Human Rights committee.
